“Pupils really engaged in it last year and reading really took off. An excellent day!” - Deputy Head
The Dahlicious Dress Up Day is in aid of Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, which continues Roald Dahl’s legacy of helping seriously ill and disabled children. Schools around the UK will be joining in on Friday 27th September 2013 – although you can hold your event on any day you like!
Chiddlers donate £1 to dress up as their favourite Roald Dahl character – they might look a bit of a twit, but after a giant peach of a day, they will be champion of the world! And even those who don’t want to dress up can still take part by wearing Roald Dahl’s favourite colour – yummy yellow.
Taking part in the Dahlicious Dress Up Day is easy.
Register for your splendiferous pack at www.roalddahlcharity.org/schools or you can also speak to a friendly human bean on 01494 890 465 during office hours, Monday to Friday (local rates apply).
No squibbling!
Register your school for a pack before 22nd July 2013 to be entered into our spliffling prize draw to win a free storytelling session with the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre.
