Tribal has been selected to project manage the setting up of one of the UK's first four free schools.
The primary school in Mill Hill, North London will be a faith school and was proposed by local parents. Tribal, a UK-based public services organisation selected by the Department for Education, will be working to help develop the parents’ vision for the school, as well as supplying educational expertise when the time comes to develop a business plan and curriculum, and to appoint a headteacher.
The school is scheduled to open in September 2011 with a single year group of 4–5-year-olds, with further year groups added one at a time.
