AKA introduces schools to the very best in culture and live entertainment through their new website

Events

On the 9th September, international entertainment marketing agency AKA launches a new website for teachers called Hot Tickets For Schools to coincide with the start of a new academic year. This intuitive website is a fantastic new tool for education professionals which simplifies school trip research and bookings for the UK’s top theatre, shows, events and attractions.

Hot Tickets For Schools is a one-stop resource for teachers looking to plan a school trip, whether it’s to see the new blockbuster musical or exhibition, the latest, critically-championed play revival, bold new writing or a fascinating attraction. After months of research with education professionals, AKA has ensured that this new website is hugely practical for teachers, providing them with everything they may need , including a fully searchable range of events and advice on both planning a class trip and then supporting it back in the classroom using a range of teacher resources.

In addition, the website provides handy hints on booking tickets at the best available rates for schools, making the entire organisational process as simple and stress-free as possible.

Charlotte Thomson, Head of Marketing at AKA said “Schools are constantly on the lookout for trips that will be educationally stimulating and fun. As such, we often work with teachers to ensure that trips are easy to organise, hassle-free and, most importantly, curriculum-relevant. It’s through these conversations and our dedicated teacher focus group that we identified a real need for something like Hot Tickets for Schools; a portal that offers everything in one place, from ticket prices and travel options to nearby ‘school-group-friendly’ restaurants and hotels.”

Nitasha Rajoo, Subject Leader for Drama at The City Academy, Hackney and Hot Tickets for School focus group member added: “As many teachers will all too well know, it can be a struggle to find enough hours in the day to do all the things that you’d like. That’s why websites like Hot Tickets for Schools are invaluable resources. Now, thanks to this one-stop portal, it’s never been easier to go and see a top show or attraction with my students and make the experience seamlessly part of lesson plans.”

In addition, the Hot Tickets For Schools website will facilitate an online community for teachers to share experiences, tips and reviews. Teachers can also sign up to receive the latest news on the must-see shows and events that are suitable for their students,
